Where Are They Now?

Take some time to share with us what you've been up to for the past 20 years. Yes it really has been that long. Be sure to share a fun memory or two as well.

20 Years Go By Fast!! Wendy Bjerke

Hello everyone (and thank you McKay for creating this site)--I've been reading everyone's posts and it looks like everyone is doing great and looking forward to the reunion.
I'm still living in warm, sunny Mesa, Arizona (the high today was 114!) and married to my sweet wonderful husband Russell. We are the proud parents of a little princess named Catie Lou, who will be turning 4 on July 20. So I've been keeping pretty busy being a wife and mother--and looking for work! I was laid off on May 30 and have been unemployed ever since! However, I've had some interviews this week and there may be a few options, so keep your fingers crossed!
We moved into a bigger, better house about a minute away from where we were living for the past 18 months. And McKay, I have a pretty good idea what your calling is like since I'm the Primary pianist for my ward. There's never a dull moment in there. Is it the same way for you? But anyway, it's been hectic with moving, looking for work, etc.!
What do I remember the most about high school? Let's see...first and foremost, beating Beaver three years in a row for the state championship in football (there are a few people down here who are originally from Beaver, and when I tell them I'm from Kanab they cringe--LOL!), working as an aide in Mr. Drake's office (which allowed me to overhear Mr. Aland chewing out anyone who got sent to his office), and having a blast cruising main with my sisters. The pep rallies were fun as were the dances, and...heck, I may need to get my yearbook out since it's been so long.
Depending on my job situation, I'm not sure if we'll be able to make it to the reunion or not. But we'll try to come. We would love to see you. Take care everyone! WLB :)

Thanks for the update Wendy. I hope you find a great job soon.

Primary for me is exactly like a circus and I often feel I'm in the middle of three rings. It's all good though. I'm sure I was a rambunctious one myself. :)

Good to hear your update. I love the Christmas cards each year. I'm horrible at sending them though, so don't hold your breath :o) Hope to see you!

I am so glad to hear that life is treating you so well! Sorry you're unemployed at the moment - the upside to that is more time with Catie Lou! Enjoy it!! And I wish you well in your job hunt!
